I was looking for an interesting quote about nudity that was in some way reflective of the "gamers" version of nudity in Second Life and I found this by the well known philosopher and social commentator Charlie Chaplin........ no, wait....... Charlie Chaplin?? Anyway, apparently he did say that, who'd have thought it but much respect to a beautiful philosophy!

Nudity in SL then...... I remember the day when girls would stay covered up because the system bods at the time were pretty awful, at the same time guys would wander around with a penis that was so disproportionately huge, if it were real they would keel over with the sheer volume of blood and end up looking like a very ugly thumb tack. The advent of mesh has changed all that and I totally confess to being a mesh body addict as you will see from the pictures. I've tried several of the bodies now and eventually settled with the Maitreya bod, not really because it looks amazing, (and it does!), but because clothes seem to fit better with that than others. Equally I think I may have been one of the first to try the Logo head when the original came out, I loved it then for the same reasons I love it now - it's got loads of different makeup options. I stopped wearing it after about six months though because I kept bumping into myself! Omega has changed all that now and I reverted back to my Logo head after I'd found a lovely skin by Lure at this years skin fair - not looked back since and have a couple of the Lure skins that I chop and change.

My inner geek also likes a few gadgets such as Eye and Ankle fixes, especially useful when taking pictures. I alos love my AO from AKEYO which again I've had for a long time

So I'm very happy and actually quite proud of my virtual body so I thought I'd blog what lives under the clothes;
