[01:04] Friend of mine: Dark nights, the cold, leaves all over the place, the rain, hate it……

And as with all good friends there are times when we beg to differ. Personally I love the Autumn, (I get why you call it Fall, but it still doesn’t feel right!), in fact I love all the seasons for all their individual joys and quirks, Autumn because of the dark nights, an excuse to go to bed early and snuggle up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate, because of the crisp cold, mornings striding across the common, because of nature’s crescendo, heralded by a burst of vibrant colours in the trees as if the summer was building to this wonderful display of flame reds, crimsons, salmon pinks and sunshine yellows, because of the melodic, soothing, hypnotic pitter-patter of the rain against my window, because of the roaring fires, because of the sparkles and lights and baubles and the growing excitement as we embrace Christmas or Diwali or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa! I love it all!

In Second Life, it’s time to change my wardrobe, pack away the tiny summer dresses, shorts and T shirts and head for the shops. C88 seemed to be a good start, so armed with my “get me in” gadget I clicked and waited, and waited, and waited…... but eventually I got in and I wasn’t disappointed, what you see below is just a small selection of what dented my L$ reserves but what the hell, it’s not real money!

I love this Pixicat jumper and fitted tights, I love the way the jumper is imperfect, it has pulls and holes, not many, but enough to make it looked lived in bringing me back to the comfort element of my Autumn philosophy! I love the tights also, so many times you buy “Maitreya” specific things like this then you’re stuck because nothing footwear wise fits with them! Not these, they fit perfectly with the Hucci also at C88. Finally I picked up some pretty MG jewellery with a great colour hud that really evokes the colours of spring!

Incidentally I took the pictures around a relatively new shopping sim called Sleepy – it’s gorgeous, even if you don’t need anything, (like that’s ever a thing!!), it’s worth a wander!
